QUALITY MANAGEMENT
What is Quality Assurance?
What is Quality Assurance?
ISO defines quality assurance as: “the process of ensuring that quality requirements are met”.
The characteristics of quality assurance are similar to those of quality control, such as planning, design, improvement, and consideration for changing client needs. Quality assurance assures clients and shareholders that quality needs will be addressed. The role goes beyond just supervising operations.
In contrast to quality control, it aims to prevent mistakes at the beginning of the process. There may be imperfections in the products produced or difficulties delivering services to clients.
